Artist about her work: 'Silver pendant based on a real lucanus (stag betele) from Asia, filled with an amber. There are so many species of stag beetles, that differ by the size and shape of their horns. This one made me think of shaman's, that decorate their heads with deer's horns .
That is why I made a quite ethnic pattern on it's body. Shamans are the ones, who have connection with earth, the world of the dead and the living. What better symbol could I use for that, than a beetle, that lives in the ground, feasts on decaying organic matter, but can also fly with its hidden wings?'
The jewelry is packed in an elegant box, which is filled with protecting silver material and white feathers. The package is wrapped with a linen string.
